A small Tesla coil. The most difficult parts were making a regular-surfaced toroid and evenly winding copper wire on the shaft.
These are an obscure collection of kitchen utensils that I made from old computer hard drives. There may still be some secret data on that tagliatelle cutter...
Made from bits of tree from the bush, speakers from a discarded portable radio, an old camera battery and some electronic bits from China.
The banjo got a new fretboard and was re-fretted after the previous owner used the old rail-road-spike trick to change the tuning of the fifth string quickly. It also needed some work on the intonation.
I also service and repaired a Technics keyboard: These were popular in the 1980's but weigh as much as a Rhodes Piano. They do have a lovely and authentic feel, however.
